Workshop on the resistance to biotic stress

Björn Hamberger and Benedicte Riber Albrectsen have invited Anna-Karin Borg-Karlson, leader the Chemical-Ecology group at KTH, Stockholm to join us for this workshop on the resistance to biotic stress in different tree species.

Björn has worked on the resistance of North American conifer tree species and focuses on the role of diterpenoids, while Benedicte worked with poplar species and phenolics. Anna-Karin has worked on the defense chemistry of gymnosperms and that of novel butterfly systems, including constitutively expressed compounds and volatiles.

All students, postdocs and PIs are welcome to let the organizers (Björn and Benedicte) know if they would like to communicate briefly (10 minute presentation plus 5 minutes discussion) their respective research to help everyone building a stronger network.
